She has improved her RPR with each of her three starts, most recently when third of 13 over C&D last month; that form up there with the best on offer and not yet exposed.

In need of the experience at Chelmsford on debut (1m2f) in October, but she showed more when third of eight at Lingfield two weeks ago (1m); should stay this far and she's capable of better.

Useful pedigree; second at Newmarket (7f, good) and Salisbury (7f, good to soft) three weeks later; should stay 1m and has similar form to the others who have run.

Record in first five starts read 22211 including a win on her return in a Newcastle maiden (1m, Tapeta) in April; finished fifth in her last two starts on turf, but they were in better races than this and she may be capable of more back on the AW.

Record of 22211 in first five starts but she was disappointing when fifth of six in a Nottingham handicap (8.3f, good) in June; still early days but that latest form has suffered some blows and she needs to resume her progress after a break.

Started her career with three seconds but returned this season to justify favouritism, always prominent, in a maiden at Newcastle (1m, AW) and ten-runner handicap at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm); up 3lb since showing improvement last time and she could have more to give.

Form & Verdict
66-1 at Salisbury (1m, good to firm) in August where she unseated rider when bucking soon after leaving the stalls; rallying fourth of six when 80-1 in novice at Ascot (1m, soft; on the heels of Tattycoram) 26 days ago, however, showed she is capable of fair form and will stay further.

Koko Blue

Yet to score but she's running well for her current yard, placed for the fourth consecutive start when third of seven in a handicap at Lingfield (extended 1m3f) last month; that form has been franked so could gain a first success here.

0-13 but she's been in good heart since joining this yard, finishing second at Southwell (1m4f, AW) last time; she'll be fine on the forecast fast ground and this may be a good opportunity to get off the mark.

12-race maiden; third off this career-low mark over about 1m4f at Windsor and Brighton in her two starts for new yard, which puts her in each-way calculations even though she tailed off (2m in December) in her only start on Tapeta.

Form & Verdict
Camelot filly who was always prominent when 13-2 for novice at Ascot (1m, soft) 26 days ago, finishing third of six to a 1-4 winner with Koko Blue closing to just over 1l of her at the line; similar form to the others who have run but should improve.

Tattycoram

9st 9lb

J: Edward Greatrex

T: Ralph Beckett

Progressive 3yo on varied ground last season who won a Listed race at Goodwood (1m4f, good) in May on her 2026 reappearance; it was a revelation, though, when she responded so well to sustained pressure to assert by four and a half lengths in the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks at Newmarket (1m4f, good to firm) early last month; problem today is that the Group 1 Yorkshire version includes much more daunting opposition.

Tattycoram

J: Edward Greatrex

T: Ralph Beckett

Progressive 3yo last season and she improved again to win a Listed race at Goodwood (1m4f, good) in May on her reappearance; this is tougher but the runner-up has franked that latest form and she could have more to offer for a trainer who excel with similar types; she's one to consider.

Tattycoram

9st 2lb

J: Edward Greatrex

T: Ralph Beckett

Largely progressive sort (1m2f winner) last season but she wasn't seen out after posting just a fair fifth of seven in 1m6f Newmarket handicap in August; this demands a clear personal best after eight months off the track.

Verdict

Newcomer Blue Laced needs a close look and there’s not much between the other three on ratings. TATTYCORAM finished ahead of Koko Blue (second choice) over 1m on soft at Ascot and may do so again granted improvement, even though the margin between them was diminishing in the closing stages. Jowddah is firmly in the mix too, following her two seconds.[Richard Austen]
