Bit of a mixed bag last year but showed some useful form, as when fourth of 11 in the Dante at York (1m2f, good to firm) in May and winning a 0-105 handicap at Doncaster (1m2f, good to soft); won on Polytrack at Chelmsford as a 2yo and very much favoured by these terms; respected. |

Proved resurgent with useful performance, defying a mark of 104, in Doncaster handicap (1m2f, good to soft) last time; no slouch but he's well short of Group 1 standard and has been supplemented, at a cost of £75,000, to act as pacemaker for stablemate Ombudsman; admittedly the last horse who played that role nearly stole the Juddmonte International. |

Smart form when fourth in the Group 2 Dante at York (1m2f, good to firm; showed promise on good to soft on debut) in May; failed to stay 1m6f in the Queen's Vase next time but it's much harder to excuse his latest 16l fourth of five in 1m2f Windsor Group 3 on his first outing since being gelded, weakening quickly; sights are lowered now but has too much to prove. |
