Didn't seem beaten entirely by the 7.5f trip at Chester on seasonal debut but is still seeking a first success beyond sprint distances; not exactly guaranteed to take advantage of being 1lb below last winning mark.

Useful sprinter, landing soft-ground wins over 6f here and 5f at Yarmouth last summer; has had wind surgery ahead of reappearance; a new trip and a wide stall and are enough reasons to look elsewhere.

Good record on heavy and he was in fine form on soft ground in midsummer, winning decisively at Chester (6f) and Yarmouth (5f); not quite so good on his last two starts but a return to his best could be forthcoming; high on the list for a yard also represented by Germanic.

The ground can't be soft enough for him and he came out comfortably on top in a 6f handicap at Chester in June; followed up at Yarmouth in July (5f, soft) but his latest Ascot run was underwhelming; this mark may yet be in range but he'll likely need a deluge.

Has won on good to soft but best when conditions are slower; in peak form and travelled strongly before edging clear in a Racing League race at Yarmouth (soft) in July, back over 5f for the first time since a close third of 15 in a higher grade at Doncaster last October; 4lb rise is less of an issue than the sunny spell.
