Impressive in a valuable novice when upped in trip here in July, which got him a free initial St Leger entry; pipped on handicap debut at Glorious Goodwood (again 1m4f on good to firm) three weeks later but the rallying winner got first run on him and the first two stormed clear; that was off a mark of 88, seemingly way removed from Classic standard, but the winner has won well since and this scopey colt looks to have a bright future. |
