He had dropped a long way in the weights prior to his fine third at York's Dante meeting and he confirmed his wellbeing when seeing off 20 rivals back at York two weeks later (7f, good); ran poorly when an odds-on favourite at Chepstow one week later; fully effective over C&D; can't be dismissed. |
