Form & Verdict
Three-time hurdle winner (2m5f-3m1f), none too consistent and 0-6 over fences; has claims on his close second of nine at Chepstow (2m7f, good to soft) in December, but he ran poorly at Doncaster four weeks later and needs to bounce back.

Ended last year in poor form and he struggled again on his return at Cheltenham (3m4f, good) last month; mark continues to fall but he's now 1-15 over fences and needs to get back on track.

Ended last year in poor form on soft/heavy ground but the drier conditions ought to suit him better here and he won't fail through lack of stamina; can be very dangerous off current mark if refreshed by 130-day break.

Form & Verdict
Won three times over hurdles last season and looked better than ever when making a winning start over fences in novice handicap at Cheltenham (2m4f, good; made all) in November; didn't repeat the form here on New Year's Eve (2m6f) but nor was he disgraced; 2lb out of the weights today but may not be fully exposed; wears headgear for the first time.

Well suited by a stamina test on good ground and lurks on a dangerous mark but has not been firing on all cylinders since running well on last season's reappearance outing in October; safely held when fourth in recent Sussex National; needs to up his game.

Won the Southern National (3m3f, good) in November 2024 and he's on a dangerous mark on form as recent as October 2025; however, this 10yo hasn't threatened since and needs to raise his game.

Landed the Southern National at Fontwell (3m3f, good) last term; form this season features two respectable efforts at Cheltenham, including in 3m5f cross-country race; possibilities off an attractive mark.

Form & Verdict
High-class bumper/hurdle winner who has taken well to fences, easily beating the odds-on Thyme Hill over C&D (good) in November; safely held in second by the same rival in Grade 1 novice at Kempton on Boxing Day, finishing lame after running well for a long way; under optimum conditions today he's the one to beat provided he's fully recovered from that last run.

Quality bumper/hurdle performer who has won two of his five runs over fences (including a Grade 2) and had excuses for his three defeats (lost action/finished lame/irregular heartbeat); comes with an element of risk but his trainer can be trusted to have him spot on for this seasonal finale; very effective on good but career-high RPR was achieved on soft.

Inferior hurdler to Thyme Hill - albeit very smart in his own right - but the early signs are that he'll be the better chaser after making light work of the Hobbs horse in a 2m7f Grade 2 at Newbury (good), which came on the heels of a faultless display at Exeter; sound jumping has been a feature in his performances so far and he's sure to take a lot of beating; also effective on soft/good to soft.
