Took well to first-time cheekpieces in the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket (1m4f, good; Group 2) four weeks ago, bouncing back from a few disappointing efforts and returning to something like his high-class 3yo form; bagged three Group 1 prizes and finished third in the Arc during that solid 2021 campaign; evidently revived, he's respected in the retained headgear. |
