Form & Verdict
Down the field when taking on older horses in the Group 1 Nunthorpe three weeks ago but strong form previously when winning the Listed Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot (5f, good to firm) and the Group 3 Molecomb at Goodwood (5f, soft); leading claims provided York last time hasn't left its mark.

Tough-hearted sprinter; more than a match for most 5f sprinters, whatever the place or ground, although speed is his weapon and he found less than Asfoora in the King Charles III at Ascot in June before gaining his revenge at Goodwood, where Asfoora ran under a penalty; slight query about whether this is absolutely his track, having run poorly in this last year and been just workmanlike against lesser rivals on return; otherwise hard to fault.

Versatile ground-wise; very productive and speedy colt whose 2yo campaign culminated in Breeders' Cup win; defied top weight in Listed grade on reappearance, then creditable third in the Royal Ascot event won by Asfoora; this return to a sharper 5f looks ideal, indeed he made all in the Molecomb at this meeting 12 months ago; respected.

Mostly leads; handles all ground; had one off day as a 2yo, against the older sprinters at York, but otherwise carried all before him over 5f after his debut, his rivals not detaining him for long in the Windsor Castle here and he won two Group races before hanging on for a Grade 1 success in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint; did all that was asked against inferior rivals on York comeback but now needs to prove his mettle back against all ages.

Form & Verdict
Led home the far-side group in the Group 2 Queen Mary at Royal Ascot (5f, good) and easily won warm conditions race at Goodwood (5f, soft) last month; disappointing in the Group 2 Lowther at York (6f, good to firm) last time even allowing for the trip probably stretching her, but could be back on slow ground here which may be a serious boost to her claims.

Has shown high-class 6f form in the last 12 months when placed in this event (behind Kind Of Blue), the Duke Of York Stakes (behind Inisherin), the Jubilee at Royal Ascot (behind Lazzat) and the Sprint Cup at Haydock (behind Big Mojo; hampered when making her effort); handles all types of ground; each-way possibilities once more.

Finished last in the July Cup last time but had an excuse as she reared when the stalls opened; close third in Group 1 British Champions Sprint at Ascot (6f, soft) last October and reappeared with neck second in Group 2 Duke Of York (6f, good to firm) before third to Lazzat in Group 1 Jubilee at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm; beaten just over 3l); could be involved.

Strong traveller who can be slowly away; first handicap win when beating Existent at Goodwood (5f, good) last May; treading water during the summer but he did well when a close third of 21 from a tough draw in the Portland (extended 5f, good) in September and a subsequent Ascot defeat by a well-treated rival was another solid run given the race didn't go his way; claims.

Just two wins to his name but he has plenty of ability and comes here in top form, most recently coming from well back to snatch second at Ascot three weeks ago (5f, soft); slow starts are a thorn in his side but no surprise to see him arriving on the scene late; new visor replaces cheekpieces.

Won at Carlisle (5f, good to firm) in May on debut then runner-up to Valiant Force in Group 2 Norfolk at Royal Ascot (5f, good to firm); below par in Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket (6f, good to firm), where not beaten by lack of stamina, but has had a two-month break since and isn't written off.

Three 2yo wins last year, including C&D novice (good to soft) and Deauville Listed (5f, very soft); she's been a fair fifth in Listed races on her two starts this year (heavy/good to firm) but needs something extra now making her first handicap start off a lofty mark.

Three wins as a 2yo, notably a Listed win in France last August (5f, very soft; Gaenari back in second); fifth of 12 in a Chantilly Listed race on her return in March (5.5f, heavy); stable can do little wrong at present but it could be that she would prefer slower ground.

Built upon encouraging debut sixth (6f, good) when winning Windsor maiden (6f, good to firm) 11 days ago; this half-brother to last season's classy 2yo sprinter The Platinum Queen (who was short-headed in this) is open to further improvement, but he needs a sizeable step forward here.

Won a 6f maiden on fast ground as a 2yo; encouraging seasonal/handicap debut at Haydock in July (5f) and then did too much early at Newbury eight weeks ago when upped to 7f; this may prove his trip and the handicapper is easing his task.
