Verdict
This is an unexpected change of plan for Shishkin, who refused to race at Ascot and now ends up in the Rehearsal en route to the King George. He may consent to start with the cheekpieces discarded and brings a ton of class to this handicap assignment but comes with a caution label, having been so recalcitrant just seven days ago. A good alternative at bigger odds is GA LAW, whose handicap record reads well. Empire Steel (second choice) is interesting back down in trip and Elvis Mail arrives in top form.[Steve Boow]
