Lightly raced on AW in Ireland but he has improved significantly since blinkers were added, most recently running away with a 1m handicap at Dundalk in January (taking him to 3-3 in headgear); no issue with the longer trip (won over 1m4f on penultimate start) but a 13lb rise for last time (raised a total of 28lb for the three wins), allied to significantly stronger opposition, could leave him vulnerable; his tendency to hang sharply right won't be an asset here either. |
