Very useful jumps pedigree; came from mid-division to draw clear on run-in for newcomers race at Auteuil (1m7f, very soft) last April; first task for new yard couldn't have been much more demanding, in the Grade 1 at Leopardstown (2m, soft) six weeks ago, but he was just 5-1 and made most to be about 2l third of 11 to Kargese; no shock if he were to improve a good deal, which would give him a big shout.

4-8 over fences; has a massive engine and has won three Grade 1s over fences, including when giving Marine Nationale a 19l beating in first-time cheekpieces at the DRF; however, his jumping is often erratic and the cheekpieces weren't as effective when he again jumped poorly when soundly beaten in the Champion Chase; obvious chance if he jumps well but hard to know what to expect; a risky proposition.

Talented youngster who triumphed in the Triumph at this meeting in 2024 and shaped like the best horse when close third in last year's Arkle, which he would likely have won but for late mistakes that included a howler two out; again lacked fluency when beaten twice in December but took very well to first-time cheekpieces and jumped better on his way to a highly impressive performance in the Dublin Chase at Leopardstown (2m1f, soft) since, beating 2025 Champion Chase winner Marine Nationale by 19l; good chance of following up in the retained headgear, provided the form is confirmed and a reversion to errors is avoided.

The 2024 Triumph Hurdle winner turned into a top-class novice chaser last season, winning Grade 1s over C&D and at Punchestown; however, he had jumping frailties too and they resurfaced on return at Cork behind Found A Fifty; a decent effort back over C&D last time but has ground to make up on Solness and Marine National on that form; cheekpieces added.

2-3 at Auteuil last spring; ridden by Danny Mullins and hooded for both runs at Leopardstown this winter, travelling best and battling on well when close second in a Grade 2 (yielding; failed to settle) and doing so again when turning the tables on that winner in Grade 1 (soft) six weeks ago, which she took by just over 1l, followed by a host of today's stablemates; it's not by much but she sets the standard among the Irish and her all-conquering yard won three of the last four Triumphs, thoroughly dominating it last year.

Runner-up in the 2024 Triumph Hurdle and won last year's County; has quickly reached a similar level over fences, winning a beginners' event at Leopardstown (2m1f, yielding) just after Christmas and going down to the high-class Romeo Coolio in Grade 1 over the same C&D (soft) only after a titanic tussle and a final-fence blunder; should be in the thick of things again if fully recovered from those exertions.

Half-brother to very smart 2m hurdle winner Saldier; well beaten in Italy on sole run on Flat; unbeaten over hurdles at Warwick, Exeter, Chepstow and Haydock; the Chepstow race (2m, soft) was a Grade 2, with only five runners but he stormed home 21l clear, before he easily justified 2-5 favouritism at Haydock (heavy) despite mistakes at the last two flights; lacks the Grade 1 form of the Mullins contenders but it's hard to say just how good he is.
