Plenty of good efforts since the blinkers went on, including an all-the-way win over C&D (good to firm; acts on soft) in June; also made all over 1m1f at Musselburgh towards the end of August and it may be worth forgiving a lesser effort at Carlisle last week after a slowish start meant he was unable to take up his usual front-running role (also pulled too hard); C&D form figures of 23122 earn him a place on the shortlist. |
