Displayed a dark side when virtually refusing to race at Southwell on his seasonal/stable debut (also first run after gelding and wind operations) but he left that behind when a major eyecatcher at Chelmsford five weeks ago, held up under restraint but making a notable move in the fourth furlong, only for those exertions to take their toll late on; should be capable of better and while there is a slight concern he might fluff the start again, he's an intriguing contender against exposed opposition. |
