Wide margin point-to-point win at Dromahane in November; 28-1 and not disgraced when beaten 21l into sixth of 18 on hurdles debut at Naas (19.5f, good to yielding); might be suited by this step up in trip and she could go well.

Maiden hurdle winner made a very pleasing start to her chasing career at Killarney (2m5f, gd-yld) when a 0.5l second of 12 on return from 283 days off under a positive ride; obvious chance if building on that.

Point winner who has steadily got the hang of things in three starts over timber, getting off the mark when making all in a Killarney maiden hurdle in May; opening mark is fair and she's less exposed than plenty here.

One of three for trainer; upped to 3m for a 20-runner race at Down Royal in October (good to yielding) and it brought improvement with a last-gasp win; another nice effort at Ascot (3m1f, good to soft) off higher British mark when a 3.5l third; may need this first run back but ground to suit.

Verdict

The 100-rated Milanaway sets the standard but it is hardly insurmountable. The Gordon Elliott debutante Creadan Grace would be of interest if strong in the betting but a chance is taken on the point-to-point winner AFFINITY ROCK who may be suited by the step up in trip after running a decent race on her hurdles debut at Naas. Mayo Shirocco completes the shortlist. [Dave Stephens]
