Promise on debut at Cork and built on that with a gutsy win on soft ground at Fairyhouse last month; claims again if coping with this very testing ground.

100-1 and borderline tailed off in a Cork maiden hurdle in December 2024 but he subsequently turned into a quality bumper performer and has taken it up a notch since resuming career over hurdles, unbeaten in four including Navan Grade 3 (2m, soft to heavy) in November and when repeating forcing tactics in Naas Grade 1 (2m4f, soft; Sortudo second, Saint Baco behind) two months ago; won't find it easy to dominate this field but his gritty attitude was admirable last time and he likely won't go down without a fight.

Good form in winning two of his three bumpers, posting an RPR of 121 on the second occasion; surpassed that figure in a maiden hurdle at Listowel (2m, yielding), hammering a subsequent winner in the process; has further to go here but looks a smart prospect.

Dual bumper winner after a modest run on debut in a Cork maiden hurdle; off since a 12l second in a Fairyhouse bumper in April; easy ground fine; market should reveal expectations.

Form & Verdict
Didn't show much in three point-to-points; better efforts in first two starts under Rules, placing in bumpers at Navan and Down Royal; needs more to win this and has to prove he handles heavy ground.

Has won his last three, a Wexford bumper, a Tipperary maiden and a Galway novice (Cameletta Vega second), all at around this trip on good ground; top rated at 131 and his chance is obvious; seems to act on most ground.

Backed up Wexford bumper win with a maiden hurdle success at Tipperary; a lot more on his plate now, trainer won this last year with 11-1 chance Donnie Devito.

Won on good ground at Ballinrobe last July; his three runs on soft and heavy ground have not been up to the same standard; top rider booked but he may prefer a sounder surface.

Bumper and maiden hurdle winner for Harry Kelly; ran well on the Flat at this venue on final start for Kelly; has run poorly in two of his three runs for this stable; makes handicap debut; his two stablemates appear to hold stronger credentials.

Ballinrobe bumper winner last July; won a Naas maiden hurdle easily at the first attempt in April; let down by jumping on stable debut when finishing last in a Cork rated novice (2m1f, good); improved jumping display when a good third in a rated hurdle at Wexford last time; he won't be far away.

Ballinrobe bumper winner last summer readily landed Naas maiden (2m, good to yielding) on hurdling debut last month; slowly away when narrowly beaten on the flat at Bellewstown two days later but let down by jumping on yard debut in Cork rated novice latest; likely improver if getting jumping sorted.

Form & Verdict
Point-to-point winner on heavy in March 2024; sent off 100-30 for his racecourse debut at Navan (2m, soft) and displayed a willing attitude to score by 0.5l; heavy ground fine and he holds leading claims.

Point/bumper winner; won easily under no-nonsense rides from the front at Fairyhouse (2m4f, yielding) and here (2m3f, heavy) but met his match over 3m in Albert Bartlett when fifth (Fruit De Mer second, The Passing Wife third); clearly needs to find more.

Point/bumper winner; won easily under no-nonsense rides from the front at Fairyhouse (2m4f, yielding) and Punchestown (2m3f, heavy) and now tackles his toughest test yet with a dangerously unexposed profile; on running style and most definitely on pedigree, the step up to 3m looks a major plus.

Easy point-to-point winner followed up on bumper debut (soft) next time; ran creditably on hurdling bow at Clonmel last month when third, 3.75l behind Parnell Street off level weights; showed good improvement to easily win at Fairyhouse (2m4f, yielding); slight question mark back on heavy given his best run came on better last time, and trainer said he got bogged down at Clonmel.
