Form & Verdict
A Listed novice hurdle winner at Cork last season and finished up rated 135 in that sphere; has quickly established himself as a better chaser; two promising seconds before winning at Galway in October; backed that up with a Grade 2 success at Punchestown; stuck to his task well and can uphold form with third-place Bossofthebrownies on 5lb worse terms.

Prospered after second to Western Fold on chase debut at Tipperary last May; hat-trick included small-field 3m Grade 2s at this venue and Navan; took time to warm up and left with plenty to do in the Brown Advisory, made late progress to finish fourth behind Kitzbuhel; towards the back when unseated at the 15th (Chair) in the Grand National.

A first-season novice won the 2022 Grand National when unraced beyond 3m1f and this Irish challenger (who's one year older) bids to repeat the feat; hat-trick this season included two small-field Grade 2s and when his winning sequence came to an end it was in the Grade 1 novice at Cheltenham Festival, where some slow jumping in the early stages left him with plenty to do but he made late inroads to finish fourth; he still looks capable of better and the longer trip could suit.

Progressive over fences, winning soft-ground 3m Grade 2s at Punchestown in November (beat Koktail Divin) and Navan in February (by 6l from The Wallpark) on his last two starts; has a better chance on form for his two-horse trainer than double-figure odds suggest; one to consider each-way.

Form & Verdict
High-class staying hurdler, rated 155; now has serious questions to answer after his first four chase starts; remote seventh in Leopardstown event won by Koktail Divin (previously beaten by Oscars Brother at Punchestown); needs to jump a lot better than in 2m4f Gowran event; longer trip should be a help at least.

High-class staying hurdler, rated 155; 0-5 so far chasing this term but much more encouraging run on latest when second to the classy Oscars Brother in Grade 2 Ten Up Novices' at Navan last month; jumping still requires attention but is 13lb lower than hurdles here in first handicap chase.

Form & Verdict
Useful handicap hurdler at up to 3m (rated 132); yet to shine over fences, though he was only 2 3/4l behind Gold Dancer when third of four in the Grade 1 Limerick event won by Final Demand.

Very useful hurdler at up to 3m (rated 132); yet to shine in spell over fences, but not disgraced in Grade 1 behind Final Demand at Limerick in December; behind two smart types in Navan Grade 2 on latest; return to hurdling could spark a revival; Jack Kennedy's sole ride on the card.

Form & Verdict
Smart form in the first half of the season, with a hat-trick featuring two Grade 3 events; no match for the top-class Romeo Coolio when beaten 8l in the Drinmore at Fairyhouse, beaten the same distance by Final Demand at Limerick, form let down by the winner at the DRF; three Irish wins on goodish ground, heavy going is a concern, though won it over hurdles in France.

Experienced novice who had already won three chases by October; progress then stalled until he ran a screamer off top weight (ridden by 7lb claimer) when second in the Jack Richards at the Cheltenham Festival (about 2m4f, good; Regent's Stroll third, Jordans Cross eighth) last month; didn't stay 3m on sole attempt but that came on heavy ground and the experiment looks worth another go; player.

Non-stayer over 3m on heavy ground last time; consistent form otherwise this term features two Grade 3 wins and a couple of 8l seconds at Grade 1 level; useful sort but doesn't necessarily look well treated and likely needs improvement to defy top weight in this hot handicap.
