Verdict
His latest run was underwhelming but STARSHINE LEGEND remains open to improvement on this handicap hurdle debut and, if his record in headgear on the Flat is a guide, the refitted cheekpieces could be a big help. Midnight Jewel (second choice) is better known as a chaser now but he returned from a layoff with a satisfactory C&D hurdle run last month and could be a threat if that outing did him good. Warner’s Cross and Babychino arrive in good form, while Lucky In Taipan and Could Be You remain unexposed.[Chris Wilson]
