This is much more competitive than the races EDELAK has contested this season, but he appears to be making good progress and might be up to the task. Roysse (second choice) is a bit of a character and will need some luck from off the pace, but he’s probably still on a good mark for this hat-trick attempt. Virtual Rock, a rare runner here from John Butler’s Newmarket stable, returned from a long absence with a poor Flat run this month, but he’s unexposed over hurdles and will be feared if strong in the betting.
