Didn't make the track at two; quickly established herself as a smart filly last year and she went off favourite when third in the Ribblesdale (1m4f, good to firm) at this meeting; campaigned at 1m this term and she made Listed-race breakthrough at Leopardstown (good) against males last month; that was just her fifth start and it's likely there is better to come.

Won 1m2f filles' maiden here on debut (good); subsequently placed in Navan Group 3 (1m2f, soft) and in Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Ascot (1m4f, gd-fm) when the 2-1 favourite; testing ground may not have suited on seasonal return in the Park Express at the Curragh (1m, sft-hvy); should improve for that and yard red-hot, but needs to prove effectiveness for this trip.

Verdict

If the ground isn’t too testing, Dancing Saxon, Suzie Songs and Spinning Around can run well. However, there is lots of rain forecast and that will play to the strengths of last year’s winner (at Tipperary) Princess Child and the unexposed CROMAC QUAY, who is narrowly preferred. She bolted up on her first try on soft over 7f in a maiden at Leopardstown in June and she previously got to within 3.75l of the very talented Sparan Nua at Naas. Magny Cours is another one to consider in a competitive heat. [Dave Stephens]
