Good 7f handicapper but has achieved his peak RPRs in the last two runnings of the Bunbury Cup, winning in 2024 and going very close in 2025; may be more interesting when going for a third attempt at Newmarket in July; his Ascot record isn't convincing.

Reserve; won the Bunbury Cup (7f, good) last July and went very close in that same race this year (good to firm); should be fine at 1m but those Newmarket efforts have been his standout performances in the last two seasons and it's probably best to look elsewhere; wears a first-time hood.

Suited by ground softer than good; not entirely solid on his form this season for new yard, albeit latest effort is best forgiven; scored over C&D (classified event) last September but this is a harder task.

Four wins have come on good to soft/soft ground later in the year and he wants a good test over this trip on good ground; turned in a solid comeback effort over C&D in March but there's little room for error off this mark and he has his quirks.

Hasn't fulfilled the huge promise of his early form for William Haggas but he retains a good chunk of ability and enjoyed a resurgence last autumn, notably when a comfortable winner over C&D (soft) in October; disappointed when last seen but he should be in for another good year; back from a break is perhaps not the time to catch him but market should give clues.

Largely consistent form this term includes a creditable effort in the Doncaster contest won by Akkadian Thunder; long losing run continues, however, with nearly two years passing since his sole success.

Had some season to have already bagged an International (C&D, good) and the Stewards' Cup (6f, good to soft); he might not be done yet as he was beaten under a length at the Ebor meeting and then never nearer than at the finish after starting slowly in the Ayr Gold Cup; may have little margin for error off current mark but can see him running well.

One Newmarket blip aside it has been a fine season for him, winning big pots in successive weekends in July/August, the International at Ascot (7f, good) and an emphatic one in the Stewards' Cup (6f, good to soft); another solid effort when close up in fourth behind Northern Ticker at the Ebor meeting four weeks ago, making up a lot of ground in the penultimate furlong; this stiffer test should suit and in the thick of it if the ground proves suitable (disappointed in one run on soft but it was a farcical contest).

Versatile as regards ground; gelded prior to showing consistent form (3421) over 1m this term and the latest performance was his second win on Eclipse day at Sandown; well treated under a small penalty (future mark 2lb higher) and he was effective at 7f in 2022/2023; shortlisted.

Patchy form for David O'Meara last term but won in June (good to firm; first-time hood) and ran a corker when third of 21 in valuable Ascot handicap (good) in July; back in form when slightly unlucky second at Newcastle (also 7f, AW) in October and sold for 40,000gns later that month; hood (absent when disappointing on final start) missing again; tongue tied for stable debut and warrants a market check.

Quirky 4yo; won well at Leicester in June (7f, good to firm; hooded first time) and his third at Ascot in July was an excellent effort; a few quiet efforts from August onwards but he would likely have gone close here (1m) last week had he seen any daylight; the forecast strong headwind could favour something coming from off the pace and no doubt he has the ability to win off this mark; high on the list.
