Verdict
Global Heat should have a fine chance given that he’s up against a huge outsider and two who have not raced this season. However, his 2-23 strike-rate prompts caution and connections resort to new headgear. Ranch Hand will be a match for him if he returns on song on this first appearance since June 2021 but preference is for the 3yo DILLIAN, for whom the big-race aspirations had to be put on hold when he sustained an injury in May just before the Chester Vase.[Richard Austen]
