Verdict
Royal Scandal impressed when winning twice on AW, particularly over 1m4f last time, but she came up short in her one run on turf. That was on good to firm and today’s return to Doncaster may well be on different ground but it leaves her with something to prove. Wickywickywheels (second choice) and Strawberri come right into the argument judged on their Hamilton run on soft ground last time but watch out also for VINDOLANDA who would not mind any rain, lurks on a competitive mark and ran very well on her only start here.[Richard Austen]
