Can front-run; unraced on ground quicker than good; won a Listed race at Saint-Cloud (1m2f, soft) last October and reappeared in May with a Listed second in France (1m2f, soft; beaten 4l); however, she's been beaten a long way in both starts since, albeit she didn't stay 1m4f at York last month; bit to prove.

Made most for Listed win at Saint-Cloud last October and reappeared this May with a respectable Listed second in France, both 1m2f on soft; won over 1m3f in 2024 and she now looks worth a crack at 1m4f; first, though, she needs to bounce back after tailing off in an AW Group 3 (20-1) eight weeks ago.

Listed winner at Saint-Cloud (1m2f, soft) last October and reappeared with respectable Listed second in France (1m2f, soft) last month; has run well here in the past, but this 5yo's form needs to go to a new level today if she's to come out on top.

Has won after a break; landed a Listed contest at Lingfield (1m5f, AW) last November then won two Group 2 events at Meydan this year, most notably the Dubai Gold Cup over 2m; ran a big race when a close-up fifth in a Group 1 at Longhcamp (near 2m, soft) in May and has been off since; now drops back markedly in trip but she did win over 1m1f in Dubai this year; strong claims.

Her two wins came in a handicaps at Kempton (1m3f, AW) and at this track over 11.5f on her next start (soft); then went close at Newmarket (1m4f, good) but she's struggled in Listed/Group company in four starts since; cheekpieces, worn last time, are now discarded and she drops in back in trip on her first start since July with better needed.

Looked on the up when landing a pair of handicaps (around 1m3f) at Kempton and Yarmouth last summer; below that form in 1m4f Listed event at Goodwood and Group 3 at York (1m6f) in May; cheekpieces added; faces another tough ask.

From a useful middle-distance family and she won two handicaps at around 1m3f in the second half of 2025; however, she has come up well short in two attempts at Listed/Group 3 level, and she has a mountain to climb on form.

Form & Verdict
Three of her four wins have been on the AW and the other came at Ascot last May on good to firm; didn't seem suited by conditions (good to soft) when down the field in a 1m4f Listed race at York last month (first start for 215 days) and, although dropping back in trip should suit, she may want faster ground in this sphere; one of three for last year's winning stable.

Tail flasher who has looked a bit tricky at times but she's also won four of her eight starts; did it well in a handicap at Ascot (good to firm) in May 2025 and, with Ryan Moore taking over, she then justified short-priced favouritism in last-gasp fashion in two hot AW handicaps at Lingfield last winter; those wins were 1m2f and she's unraced beyond that, but three siblings scored at 1m3f or 1m4f; absent since January but those last two 1m2f AW wins make her the clear form pick.

Made a winning reappearance in a handicap at Doncaster (1m2f, good to firm) in April before a good third at Ascot next time; two respectable efforts in Group/Listed company since but ground slower than good would be a concern on her first start in two months.

Progressed into a useful handicapper since last autumn; couldn't cope with a steep rise in class when 9l fourth in 1m3f Carlisle Group 3 (good to firm) seven weeks ago but it was a good race for the grade (won by Estrange) and the way she stuck on suggests 1m4f should be within range even though she's a bit of a keen goer.

Best effort came when winning at handicap at Goodwood (1m4f, good) in May; respectable third of nine in a 1m4f Listed race at Newmarket in July but faded after being headed in a similar event over that C&D next time; could be suited by dropping back to 1m2f; acts on good to soft but unraced on slower.

Posted her first triple-digit RPR when landing 1m4f Goodwood handicap (good) on seasonal return; the form of that race was boosted by the runner-up winning a Listed race next time but she couldn't uphold it herself when behind a few of these in Pontefract Listed event four weeks ago, although the way she weakened quickly late on suggests something may not have been right.

Won here on her debut over 1m on good to soft and doubled her tally in a York handicap last year; has progressed with each of her three starts this year, including when keeping on for second in a Group 3 at the Curragh (1m2f) and winning the battle with Capichera for that same position in the Galtres at York (1m4f, good to soft) last month; returning to 1m2f shouldn't be an issue and she could still be capable of better.

Won debut on good to soft, no impression in her one race on soft; 1m1f handicap winner here last September and, having finished well for fourth of 24 over 1m this season at Royal Ascot, she ran on into second of eight when trying 1m2f again in Group 3 at the Curragh on latest outing; races a bit freely but her dam was pretty useful at this trip; each-way form chance.

British raider is 2-6, her wins coming last season in a Yarmouth novice and a class 4 handicap at York off 83; signed off with a Listed third in Italy and ran a blinder on her seasonal return in the Kensington Palace Handicap at Royal Ascot when not getting the clearest of runs; her official rating of 92 may underestimate her and she could outrun her likely odds.

Made it 6-7 on AW (including a victory on Tapeta) when winning the Group 3 Winter Derby at Lingfield (1m2f, Polytrack) in February; not at her best in Group 2 at Chester since but that was a hotter race than this and she can give a good account back in a Group 3 and back on the AW; 3lb penalty.

Long odds-on when winning a novice at Pontefract (1m, good) in June; wasn't suited by the steady gallop in a 1m2f handicap at Windsor next time but posted an improved effort over 1m4f in the Galtres last month (good to soft; narrowly behind Rhapsody); now drops back in trip but she still looks capable of better.

Long odds-on for her Pontefract novice win (1m, good; acts on good to soft) in June; close third of seven when 5-6 for a handicap at Windsor one month ago on the move up to 1m2f and she's by Australia, which boosts hopes for 1m4f; she has the lowest rating in this field, however.

Generally progressive filly who has form figures of 42321 and she landed the odds with a runaway win in a Pontefract novice (1m, good) three weeks ago; this is tougher off a revised mark back in a handicap but she should have more to offer at this new trip; respected.

2-2 on the AW, the wins coming in novices here (1m) last October and at Wolverhampton (9.5f, Tapeta) in May; finished down the field in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm) in June, but interesting back on this surface and the longer trip shouldn't be an issue on breeding.

Another unexposed filly from a top yard and she cost 450,000gns; her only turf run was on soft ground on debut and she's looked a work in progress in winning two on the AW (1m/9.4f), last time at the expense of a subsequent winner; the potential is there to take a sizeable step forward in her first handicap.

Verdict

The highest rated of these fillies is Dubai Gold Cup winner Fairy Glen (second choice) but she drops back markedly in trip after a good run in a Longchamp Group 1 at about 2m in May. She has winning form after a break and will be tough to beat if handling this sharper test, but there should still be more to come from SEET, who shaped well in the Sandringham when last seen and is a half-sister to Kalpana. Capichera and Rhapsody are closely matched on their York efforts, while Della Pace has each-way claims if the ground is soft. [Harry March]
