Form & Verdict
In career-best form with visor fitted in the spring, most notably when clearcut winner of Class 2 handicap chase here (2m, good); today's longer trip will also suit and he probably won't go down without a fight.

Form & Verdict
All four runs under rules have been for different trainers; made promising hurdle debut when second at Newbury (2m4f, good to soft) for Milton Harris in January and didn't need to better that form to win modest Hexham maiden (2m4f, good) for Nigel Twiston-Davies last month; could quite plausibly have a good future over fences but faces a daunting task today.

Form & Verdict
Very smart hurdler who won the Persian War here (2m3f, good) two years ago and ended last season with another Grade 2 success, at Sandown (2m5f, good) in April; looks an excellent chasing prospect for the season ahead.

Quality bumper/hurdle performer who has won two of his five runs over fences (including a Grade 2) and had excuses for his three defeats (lost action/finished lame/irregular heartbeat); comes with an element of risk but his trainer can be trusted to have him spot on for this seasonal finale; very effective on good but career-high RPR was achieved on soft.

High-class bumper/hurdle winner who has taken well to fences, easily beating the odds-on Thyme Hill over C&D (good) in November; safely held in second by the same rival in Grade 1 novice at Kempton on Boxing Day, finishing lame after running well for a long way; under optimum conditions today he's the one to beat provided he's fully recovered from that last run.

Inferior hurdler to Thyme Hill - albeit very smart in his own right - but the early signs are that he'll be the better chaser after making light work of the Hobbs horse in a 2m7f Grade 2 at Newbury (good), which came on the heels of a faultless display at Exeter; sound jumping has been a feature in his performances so far and he's sure to take a lot of beating; also effective on soft/good to soft.

Form & Verdict
2-5 in juvenile hurdles last season, including a Class 2 win at Cheltenham (2m1f, good to soft) in December; open to significant improvement over fences this season but has a lot to find with the principals on this first attempt.

Useful juvenile hurdler during 2021-22 season but chasing did not go to plan last term and there has been no revival since he reverted to hurdling; handles soft ground; unraced on heavy.
