Form & Verdict
Only 5lb higher than when winning a valuable Grade 2 mares' handicap at Newbury (2m4f, soft); signed off with a lesser effort in April and there weren't many positives to take from her comeback run, but she's too talented to leave out of calculations.

Just one win from her 11 chase starts and inconsistent this season but she ran okay in the face of a tough task when third of five in Listed race at Newbury (2m7f, good to soft) three weeks ago; capable of having a big say now back in a handicap.

Has been struggling to deal with her double penalty in novice events but she could have bumped into a very good horse over C&D two weeks ago; they've shied away from handicaps until now but this mark could be very manageable.

Has rather mixed record over fences this season but belied 40-1 odds when close third in valuable Windsor handicap (2m4f, soft) won by Bluey in January and last month's Cheltenham Festival defeat is easily excused; on good mark if on her mettle.

All five wins have come over an extended 2m5f, at four different tracks on good ground; sported this new headgear combination when winning easily at Wincanton and a 7lb rise could have been worse.

Gained two of her six wins over C&D (all were on good ground); returned from break with two good efforts in Class 2 events this summer, the latter on slower-than-ideal ground over C&D last month, and looks the one to beat in this easier race.

Disappointed in her two handicaps last season (2m/3m; following wind procedure) but she's interesting off this mark on her two seconds in novice company; certainly not ruled out, especially should market vibes bode well.

Both wins have come here, a bumper and then four weeks ago taking a 2m maiden for mares in workmanlike fashion; the second didn't disgrace the form next time and this initial mark could be okay; the longer trip shouldn't be an issue.

Form & Verdict
Flat background; mostly consistent since sent hurdling and she looked rusty on her comeback run at Fakenham where she took a heavy fall two out; perfectly well handicapped off only 2lb higher than when second in a 2m1f premier handicap at Cheltenham in April; going further this afternoon further heightens interest (stayed well on the Flat).

Has only won a Fontwell maiden for which she was odds-on; 0-8 in handicaps and has been running over longer trips; the return of some headgear is worth a go as she was effective in a hood and now tries cheekpieces; not handicapped out of it.

Verdict

This is competitive as cases can be made for most of these. PRETENDING looked plain rusty on her reappearance and she has major claims on the strength of her second at Cheltenham in the spring. Today’s longer trip promises to suit her well. Connections of All The Glory have resisted handicaps until now but her mark doesn’t look too challenging given the RPRs she’s been posting. A Tickatickatiming is preferred of the remainder.[Alistair Jones]
