Half-sister to four winners including 1m5f Listed winner Pennymoor and pair of AW juvenile winners over 7f; dam 6f 2yo and 1m3f (German Oaks) winner; cost 130,000gns as a yearling; represents connections that are becoming increasingly influential on the Flat scene in Ireland, particularly in this division; yard won opening 2yo maiden of the season and have had a couple finish second since in similar contests.

Dual winner on the AW who has ran some cracking races in defeat; standout effort when 2.25l second to Lake Victoria in Irish 1,000 Guineas over C&D in May; didn't go on from that run last season but made a smooth return to action when landing 1m conditions race at Dundalk easily 28 days ago; first-time visor applied; soft ground a worry.

Mixed bag for Joseph O'Brien, showing respectable form in Group races but then unable to get her head in front in lesser races; ran another sound race when pushing a progressive winner close in a 7f novice at Haydock and Ryan Moore rides on this belated handicap debut.

Promise in two Curragh starts in good company for Jack Davison early last season; stable debut last October (after a break) was too bad to be true; however, she was always at the back on handicap debut at Fairyhouse in May.

Verdict

The O’Brien brothers’ newcomers Cradle Of Love and Usdi Atohi have good pedigrees and cost a bit so are of obvious interest but Adrian Murray and AMO Racing have a good line to early-season juvenile form in Ireland and can strike with CALIFORNIA DREAMER. [Mark Nunan]
