Verdict
Today’s step up in trip ought to suit DJ PETE, who kept on well for second in a Bangor bumper in October and is taken to make a winning hurdle debut. Byron Hill is an interesting recruit from the Flat but a bigger threat to the selection may come from Invictus De Brion, who beat a fairly useful rival in a small-field course bumper in September and clearly wasn’t himself on last month’s hurdling debut.[Chris Wilson]
