Form & Verdict
Winner of two French Group 1s as a juvenile and didn't fare too badly in his three starts last season, two of them at the highest level; beaten in a Listed AW race on his return but that was respectable and a greater concern would be his flat effort at Saint-Cloud (Group 3) when soft ground shouldn't have fazed him; still commands the utmost respect at this level.

Added to his good record on softer than good when resuming winning ways in 7f Haydock Listed race last month; shaped better than the result after meeting trouble when seventh of 12 in the Queen Anne over the straight 1m here (good) at the Royal meeting; big run on the cards if the ground eases.

Form & Verdict
Consistent 2yo (over 5f-6.5f) whose only real blip came in the Coventry; also plenty to like about his near miss when upped to 7f in a soft-ground conditions race at Newmarket (led but doesn't have to) and the winner has since held his own at Listed level; up against it on these terms but likely to give his running.

Won this in 2023 for Andrew Balding; useful handicap efforts for new trainer when third over C&D in May and in the Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm) last month but they are short of level he achieved when winning this.

Smart for Andrew Balding in 2023 when a Listed winner at 7f and in the frame in Group 2s; did well for latest trainer at Chester (7f, good) in May when, racing wide throughout from high draw, he still managed a close third to Myal and Never So Brave; back up 2lb but past form makes him worth a look.

Form & Verdict
Typical steady improver from this yard and after finishing fifth in the Lincoln (raced freely) he was most impressive in another 1m handicap at Leicester (soft), coming readily clear in the closing stages; new BHA mark elevates him to this level and there's no doubt more to come from this Frankel colt; his improvement has come on soft/heavy ground.

Listed win at Sandown in July 2024 and well treated on that form; however, he drew a blank during his 2025 Australian campaign and was soundly beaten on last month's stable debut in the Thirsk Hunt Cup; something to prove.

Smart at his best for William Haggas, winning a Listed race at Sandown (1m2f, good) in July 2024; campaigned solely in Australia in 2025 and well beaten on his last two starts; potentially well handicapped back in Britain for a new yard after wind surgery, but he carries obvious risks.

Form & Verdict
Admirable veteran who is best known for his exploits in big-field handicaps and he was comfortably held in third when reappearing in a conditions race (7f, soft) at Thirsk; probably vulnerable again in a similar sort of race.

Veteran who's become hard to win with and been on the downgrade this year, coming 22lb down the weights; late in the day to be making his Tapeta debut in a new form of headgear and will need some luck if dropped in as usual from stall 11.

Form & Verdict
Ran well on the AW during the winter, and when a close fourth at Newcastle (6f) a month ago the race didn't pan out all that favourably; wouldn't want this to turn tactical but he's fine at 7f, will go on the ground and should be in the thick of it.

He had dropped a long way in the weights prior to his fine third at York's Dante meeting and he confirmed his wellbeing when seeing off 20 rivals back at York two weeks later (7f, good); ran poorly when an odds-on favourite at Chepstow one week later; fully effective over C&D; can't be dismissed.

Useful in his younger days and, having regressed last year, has found his level again of late; easily beat a big field from the front at York last weekend and a 6lb rise may well be within range now he's back in the groove.

Last turf win came off an 11lb higher mark at Newmarket in August 2022 (6f, good to firm) but has won twice on AW since (6f/7f); sound run when close third to Delicacy over C&D last time last time (good to firm) and although 2lb higher is one with a chance.

Form & Verdict
Made the most of a soft lead to take four-runner Listed race at Kempton (1m AW) last November when in first-time cheekpieces; probably ran to a similar level at Newcastle and, while conceding 3lb all round asks a bit of him, he should run well.

Seen only twice, both times on AW, last term for new yard; made a winning reappearance off current mark in this contest (on good ground) two years ago on first start during a brief spell with Charlie Fellowes; fighting chance in repeat bid, assuming he's in top form.

Just 1lb higher than for his Victoria Cup win last term (first run for Charlie Fellowes); midfield at Royal Ascot (Group 1) one month later; absent since a disappointing run on soft ground last September; cheekpieces worn on his last 11 starts are left off on today's stable debut (same owners); interesting, especially if backed.

Has form on all types of ground; gelded prior to his Victoria Cup success over C&D on stable/seasonal debut, getting up in the final strides; got going too late in 6f Group 1 at Royal Ascot on only start since; still on a workable mark and warrants respect returned to a 7f handicap.
