Form & Verdict
Only win in five came in a Bath maiden but he was fifth of 20 in the Coventry before seeing out the 7f fine in Newmarket's Group 2 Superlative Stakes (good to soft); couldn't hold a candle to the winner (City Of Troy) but he was nicely clear of Oddyssey who had previously dead-heated for third with Golden Mind in the Chesham; his form credentials are hard to knock.

Landed a second win at this meeting when seeing off Galen, King's Gambit and Enfjaar in this race on good to firm 12 months ago; below-par seventh on 1m2f Goodwood reappearance 25 days ago but this has presumably been the target again; the mount of James Doyle from the three Wathnan runners.

Has form on all types of ground; smart performer whose strong CV includes wins in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood as a 2yo and two Royal Ascot contests, more recently last year's Wolferton (1m2f Listed); best figures give him a major chance at the weights.

Gave a typically tenacious display to win 16-runner Listed race at Royal Ascot in June on his first crack at 1m2f; respectable, running-on third back over 1m for Group 2 there four weeks ago, so it looks as if about 1m2f is indeed his trip these days and he looks set for a bold show.

Form & Verdict
200,000gns yearling; the form of his debut success at Newbury (6.5f, good; 7-2) has taken some knocks but he travelled with purpose before quickening clear and connections were highly complimentary afterwards; a nagging concern that wet weather resulted in his withdrawal from the Group 2 Superlative Stakes but he's a promising colt.

Group 2 winner as a 2yo; threw away a winning opportunity in a Listed race at Doncaster in March (6f, good to soft) when diving to his left inside the final furlong; this is easier than this summer's earlier turf assignments but he's often slowly away and he isn't one for the faint of heart.

Lightly raced since winning 2yo Group 2 in September 2023 (7f, soft); went close in Listed race on 2025 reappearance (6f, good to soft) and respectable fifth in the Group 1 Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm) last time; however, he again looks vulnerable this afternoon.

Form & Verdict
Confined to 6f thus far; only workmanlike in winning his maiden at the Curragh and, at 11-2, he was never seriously involved in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket (raced freely); was due to step up to 7f in a recent Group 3 at Leopardstown but soft ground ruled him out; others have more pressing claims.

Half-brother to the stable's top class Perfect Power; after getting off the mark at Leicester he was doing all his good work too late in the day when third in the Listed Chesham at Royal Ascot (good to firm), closing in fast on the winner (other placed horses raced away from him); has a lot more to offer and should be fine on this forecast slower surface; tempting.

Good second at Musselburgh (7f) with reappearance under his belt but is by no means certain to go one better off 103 in this deep field; has gained all handicap wins off marks in in the high-90s and still needs to prove he can break the triple-digit barrier.

Big eyecatcher over 5f on soft-ground debut and duly went two better at Newbury (6.5f, good to firm) when much too good for Soldier's Gold (improved since); however, had a reality check when finishing well adrift of Haatem in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket and he was more than double the price of his stablemate that day.

Form & Verdict
It didn't look a strong race in which he made a winning start at Chester (7f, good; runner-up well held since) but he was wise enough to race prominently throughout before going away at the finish; brings up the rear in this company on Topspeed/RPR figures and stall 1 is likely to be more of a hindrance than a help.

Went close behind Holguin in this race last year before winning the Group 2 Lennox Stakes at Goodwood (7f, good); had some struggles last autumn/winter, but he returned after wind surgery with a near-miss in a Group 3 at Epsom (tongue-tie added) last month; that was much more like it and he's a major player if he can back that up.

Listed winner on soft ground who won the Group 2 Lennox Stakes at Goodwood (7f, good) last July before excellent second in the Group 2 Hungerford at Newbury (7f, good to firm) in August; he's lost his form on his last four starts but perhaps wind surgery will have done the trick; wears a first-time tongue-tie and capable of having a big say if rediscovering his best.

Better than ever this year, winning Group 2 Lennox Stakes at Goodwood (7f, good) in July and running just as well when second in Group 2 Hungerford at Newbury (7f, good to firm; strong form) in August; drawn wide when down the field in the Foret at Longchamp, and may well bounce back, with this drop back to 6f unlikely to inconvenience him; possibilities.

Put in his place by Son at Newbury in June but he's a better horse now judged on how he made light work of top weight in a 6f nursery at Ascot 18 days ago (good; won on good to soft time before); his new mark puts him within touching distance of most of these on ratings and he's clearly on the upgrade.

All four runs on good to firm; won his novice here and respectable in defeat since then in a pair of Group 2s over 5f and 6f; weak in the finish over the longer trip at Newmarket last time and his pedigree is primarily about speed, so today's greater emphasis on stamina reduces his appeal.
