Form & Verdict
Hard to believe he got beat at Redcar before producing one of the standout performances at Royal Ascot in winning the Windsor Castle by 3l, the widest margin of victory in that Listed race since 2016; both runs have been on good to firm so this slower surface will ask questions of him, but he's a fast colt who should be suited by Goodwood (and he's well drawn).

Tough-hearted sprinter; more than a match for most 5f sprinters, whatever the place or ground, although speed is his weapon and he found less than Asfoora in the King Charles III at Ascot in June before gaining his revenge at Goodwood, where Asfoora ran under a penalty; slight query about whether this is absolutely his track, having run poorly in this last year and been just workmanlike against lesser rivals on return; otherwise hard to fault.

Versatile ground-wise; very productive and speedy colt whose 2yo campaign culminated in Breeders' Cup win; defied top weight in Listed grade on reappearance, then creditable third in the Royal Ascot event won by Asfoora; this return to a sharper 5f looks ideal, indeed he made all in the Molecomb at this meeting 12 months ago; respected.

Mostly leads; handles all ground; had one off day as a 2yo, against the older sprinters at York, but otherwise carried all before him over 5f after his debut, his rivals not detaining him for long in the Windsor Castle here and he won two Group races before hanging on for a Grade 1 success in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint; did all that was asked against inferior rivals on York comeback but now needs to prove his mettle back against all ages.

Form & Verdict
Looked good when winning by 4l at Haydock (5f, good to firm; raced prominently) on debut and didn't get home over 6f in the Group 2 July Stakes (good to firm) having raced keenly; 5f is probably a better fit for now and he's not entirely discounted.

Capable of useful form for Andrew Balding; close fourth when favourite for last year's Ayr Gold Cup; hasn't won since 2023 but looks interesting off current mark in this field on debut for new yard; remains with same owner; drops back to 5f for first time since good second (joint-best effort) in Sandown Group 3 in July 2024.

Only 2-20 and but knows what these big-field handicaps are all about and was bang there when favourite for the Ayr Gold Cup two weeks ago (6f, soft; first-time cheekpieces); things didn't go to plan when he tried 7f once before; possible.

Form & Verdict
A beaten favourite in his first two runs but reportedly a slow learner and he's come good the last twice, particularly impressive in slamming Hackman by 6l in a 5f Listed race at Sandown (good) after making striking headway from off a fast pace; major player provided he goes on the ground, having swerved his intended debut after conditions turned soft.

Useful for previous yards; 0-4 this term for new stable but penultimate effort shows that he retains plenty of ability and today's assignment looks a touch easier than his latest one.

Listed winner (5f/6f) for his previous yards and he's run respectably in two 5f handicaps for his new trainer this spring; needs to find some extra spark but he's edging down the weights and this step back up in trip looks a good move.

Form & Verdict
Turned over in a messy race when 5-4 for his Newbury debut and was then withdrawn from the 5f Norfolk at Royal Ascot after getting upset in the stalls; confirmed himself a smart prospect when making no mistake from the front back at Newbury (6f, good); easy to knock that form but he's held in high regard and the stable seeks a hat-trick in this (last year's winner won a maiden the time before); looks quick enough for 5f.

Norfolk withdrawal at Royal Ascot (got upset in stalls) is flanked by promising performances over 6f on good ground at Newbury, winning readily the second time; about 4l behind Purosangue in the Molecomb at Goodwood over 5f but the soft going seemed to tax him; could well get much closer in this rematch.

His form took a surge forward towards the end of last season with 5f Listed wins for Mick Appleby at Beverley (good to firm) and Ascot (soft); reappeared with 3l third of 14 to Night Raider on stable debut in the Group 3 Palace House at Newmarket (5f, good to firm) and he's open to improvement on this second start of the season; one to consider.

In action between May and October last year for Michael Appleby, finding a form spurt late on with a close second to First Instinct in a Group 3 at Newbury sandwiched by Listed 5f wins at Beverley and Ascot (good to firm and soft); more needed back with former trainer but may yet do better.

Tough sprinter who has improved of late, winning the Listed Beverley Bullet (5f, good to firm) in August and finishing clear of the rest when second of 14 in Group 3 at Newbury (5f, good to soft) in September; tactically versatile and may not have reached his ceiling just yet; commands respect.

Form & Verdict
Diminutive colt who won well at Chester's May meeting (5f, soft) but limitations have since been exposed at Listed level, proving no match for Big Evs or Kylian in his last two; he'll go on the ground and a tongue-tie could help, but more than likely placed at best.

Highly tried since winning a maiden over C&D (soft) in May, but twice placed in Listed company and not disgraced when seventh of the 22 runners in the valuable sales contest at York (6f, good to firm) last time; makes his nursery debut, but the outside stall does make things a bit tricky.

Very impressive when making all over 6f here (good) on his May debut and can put a line through his run behind Big Evs in the Windsor Castle (5f, good to firm) as he was drawn on the wrong side and slowly away; still threatened to take a hand before finishing weakly; strong suspicion that he's a lot better than that.

Impressive on his Goodwood debut (6f, good) in May and was sent off just 5-1 for the Windsor Castle on the strength of that, but could manage only a midfield finish and his two starts since have been modest, including on nursery debut at York (6f, good to firm) last time (behind Ganesha); best watched.
