Won a mares' novice hurdle and a mares' novice handicap chase for Emma Lavelle back in 2022; creditable third in a mares' handicap hurdle on stable debut in October (2m3f, good) but well beaten over fences last time. |

Ex-Emma Lavelle; doesn't have the best of win records; creditable run when third in a Bangor mares' handicap hurdle on reappearance (2m3f, good; stable debut); each-way chance on this return to chasing. |

Useful chaser for Emma Lavelle; didn't fire on either outing last autumn, latterly when back over hurdles, and makes stable debut after 338-day absence but has slipped to a dangerous mark and the booking of Sean Bowen catches the eye. |

Record of 12113 switched to fences last term, including Irish Listed win (2m6f, soft); seemed to run very well, improving nearly a stone, in Grade 2 at the Cheltenham Festival (2m4f, soft) on final outing; big player provided she backs up that form and stays this trip (second 3m attempt). |

Suffered early mishap three starts ago but placed on other four outings this season, most recently when second ay Exeter (3m, good) three weeks ago; ran poorly on only previous visit to Fakenham and would appeal more on ground slower than good but still features prominently in calculations. |

Suffered early mishap on penultimate outing but placed on other three starts this season, most recently when clear second to dual subsequent winner at Leicester (2m6f, heavy) last month; might not be ideally suited by the much quicker ground here but still commands respect. |

A fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser but she has been pulled up all three starts over fences this season, latest at Huntingdon (3m) in January; has lots to prove back in this sphere. |

13th May 2024 Good 3m 1f 44y Class 4 |

Kept on for very respectable third behind Shirocco's Dream and Do You Think over C&D (good) in November and is now 8lb lower but this regressive 11yo has not been firing on all cylinders for a good while now and was pulled up (albeit on heavy ground) on her latest appearance. |

Not firing on all cylinders this season but has become well handicapped, and seemed to be travelling pretty well in second place before slipping and unseating rider on home turn at Wincanton (3m1f, soft) recently. |

Two chase wins over about 2m6f last winter but she showed something new when easily accounting for her four rivals over about 3m at Chepstow (soft) on reappearance three weeks ago; 9lb higher today and back down in trip but she did it well last time. |

Two chase wins last winter over shorter; hasn't looked the strongest stayer in three runs over 3m under rules and she'll need to be cherry ripe to take this back from 232 days on the sidelines. |

Verdict
Eureka Creek (second choice) could still have untapped potential over fences, while Marsh Wren had a good strike-rate over hurdles and is an interesting recruit to chasing. However, the most appealing option is ANTI BRIDGIE, who was a promising novice hurdler last season and may be seen in an even better light over fences.[Chris Wilson]
