Form & Verdict
Made an encouraging debut at Newcastle (fourth of ten) in November and she built on that when runner-up behind an odds-on rival at Wolverhampton (6f) 13 days later; needs more progress on this switch to turf but this step up to 1m looks a good move on pedigree and her dam was effective on heavy ground; dangerous.

Another to win on her debut for this yard when going in off 6lb lower on Polytrack two months ago; again gave her running on just her second crack at turf last Friday but will need to better that.

Change of stables had an immediate impact when off the mark at the 12th attempt, scoring under Mason Paetel at Lingfield in April, but her wide draw proved a problem at Southwell (also 1m on AW) one week later; bounced back with a closing second behind a hotpot at Wolverhampton (8.5f, AW) next time and her sole run on turf (7f, good) was up with her best; respected.

Form & Verdict
Too Darn Hot filly who was runner-up at Windsor (6f, soft) and Newmarket (7f, heavy) in the autumn and she returned to action with a creditable third in good 7f novice at Doncaster (hood removed) last month; sets a clear standard here and she could have more to offer on this step up to 1m; strong contender.

Off the mark in Redcar novice event, taking her form figures over 7f to 2321; the return to 1m backfired at Southwell (belated handicap debut; behind Moonspirit) since; may have more to offer back down in distance and remains of interest.

Form & Verdict
190,000gns half-sister to six winners but she was a weak 8-1 shot at Catterick (7f, heavy) last week and finished a remote sixth of 11; looked inexperienced in that race but she needs a transformation upped in trip on her second start.

190,000gns yearling; half-sister to six winners, including heavy-ground Abbaye winner Wizz Kid and 1m1f soft-ground Listed scorer Mustaheel; interesting on debut for stable among the winners.

15,000euros half-sister to seven winners including Nargys (6f 2yo/7f Group 3; 110), Hidden Oasis (7f-1m; 104) and Fit For The Job (7f-1m; 95); dam 7f winner (80); has good pedigree but this looks a tough enough starting point and she's probably best watched; hood applied.

Ran no race when last of seven at a short price at Ayr last Monday and that will need forgiving; her two best efforts have come over C&D, though, and it wouldn't surprise to see her bounce back.

Minor form in maidens but she hinted at better to come when third of 14 in a Yarmouth classified (1m, soft) in June and won with something spare in a handicap back over that C&D (good to firm) 13 days ago; still eligible for this level after a 3lb rise; respected.

Looked worth a crack over further when third over C&D (soft) last month but then didn't look to see out 1m2f on firm ground round Bath latest; whether she'll have the pace for this is now the question.

Verdict

This can go to Andrew Balding’s GHAIHABAN, who has run well in the mud in all three of her starts including when third in a good novice at Doncaster on her return last month. She sets a clear standard on her peak form and could have more to offer at this new trip. The main danger is Disclosure, who has shown clear promise in her two AW runs and is open to more progress on her step up to 1m.[David Moon]
