Form & Verdict
Nicely progressive Too Darn Hot colt won his maiden here in early June before contesting 7f Group contests, clear with runner-up when landing Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown and back here in Futurity last month when second to Henri Matisse (subsequent National Stakes winner in third); every chance of staying this longer trip and sets a good standard.

Group 1 winner as a 2yo; came up dry in 3yo season but plenty of good runs in defeat, including when placing in the 2000 Guineas here (1m, good); has a tendency to race keenly at times, as he did when beaten a nose dropped to Listed company on seasonal return at Navan (1m1f, good), splitting Isaac Newton and Geryon; cheekpieces look a good addition and he should go well again.

Ended his 2yo campaign with a Group 1 win, beating Delacroix in the William Hill Futurity; no wins last year, but managed a fine third in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and a fair fourth in the Irish Champion Stakes (1m2f); too keen when attempting 1m4f in the Arc; can win races at four and this appeals as a suitable starting point if his fitness holds up.

Beat Delacroix in last year's Futurity at Doncaster; has failed to make a major impact this season, including behind Delacroix in the Eclipse; did not have much luck in running before staying on late in the Saratoga Derby six weeks ago; up against it.

Form & Verdict
Galway debut promise was fulfilled at Tipperary early this month, showing plenty of stamina when making all to beat an odds-on shot from Ballydoyle over 1m1f (pair well clear); could make a bold bid here.

Group 1-winning 2yo; made the frame last year in the Derby/Irish Derby and career-best when winning the Group 2 Prix Chaudenay (1m7f, very soft) at Longchamp in October; disappointing in a Group 2 Riyadh contest in January; fair third in a 2m Listed race at Down Royal in May.

Group 1-winning 2yo made the frame last year in Epsom/Curragh Derbies and career-best when winning the Group 2 Prix Chaudenay (1m7f, very soft) at Longchamp in October; disappointing when last seen in Group 2 Riyadh contest in January, fading tamely on quick ground after forcing much of pace; demands plenty of respect on overall form.

Coped with heavy ground to beat Green Storm in three-runner Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud (1m2f) last October; needed the race and unsuited by a muddling gallop and quick ground when around 7l third behind Delacroix in the Ballysax in May; did best of those who came from off the pace when finishing strongly for third in the Derby; holds a fighting chance in the rematch.

Form & Verdict
Emerged from a break when showing improved form to land York novice over this trip 20 days ago, travelling well and relishing the step up in distance to hammer an odds-on shot; appreciated the softer ground then so recent rain should suit; much more on his plate here but respected.

Pacemaker for Field Of Gold in two Group 1 races this season; took advantage of drop back in class for Listed event at Sandown (1m2f, good to firm) last time, prevailing narrowly in a sustained battle with the runner-up who made the running; still unexposed beyond 1m and may rate higher still.

Progressive last term and ran creditably when favourite for the Classic Trial over C&D on reappearance; comfortably held in Group 1 races won by Field Of Gold since; faces a much easier task back down sharply in class and taking on his elders; respected.

Two minor honours in Group races, including second at Sandown (1m2f) on seasonal debut; however, dropped away in the closing stages of the Irish 2,000 Guineas and ended up behind three of today's rivals; the cheekpieces worn that day are retained; needs major improvement.

Form & Verdict
Off the mark at third time of asking when running away with Galway maiden 18 days ago, making all in first-time blinkers; opposition then wasn't strong but gave the impression he could hold his own in much better company and has to be respected.

Didn't look happy on the camber when going close behind Sea Scout in Listed race at Epsom (1m2f, good) in April and took a step forward when a close fourth of 18 in the Group 1 Prix du Jockey Club (10.5f, good to soft) 18 days ago, when helping to force the pace and beaten just a head by Detain; sole contender for top trainer who has won this four times; key player.

Form & Verdict
Australia colt was a fortunate (clear leader ran out close home) debut winner at Killarney in July and improved on that to win Craon Listed on soft ground last month, despite missing the break and racing a bit lazily; blinkers now fitted and needs to improve again.

Winner of the 2025 Derby; has worn cheekpieces this season, gamely beating Bay City Roller in the Huxley at Chester (good-ground Group 2) then failing by a long way to confirm the placings in a one-sided Coronation Cup on softer going; behind stablemate Jan Brueghel in that contest and is still a tad inferior to that horse on ratings but it will be interesting to see what he can do in the retained headgear returned to a forecast faster surface.

Most wins on good ground but has form on soft; held on by only a neck from Bay City Roller on better terms in the Huxley (1m2f Group 2) at Chester on seasonal debut but proved game in first-time cheekpieces and, based on Ryan Moore's post-race comments, will come on for the run; notable contender in the retained headgear returned to the scene of his biggest moment, namely a clearcut success in last year's Derby (followed up in the Irish version).
