20th May 2026 Standard To Slow 1m 0f 0y Class 5 |
9st 6lb |
13-race maiden who can miss the break and he returned after wind surgery with a laboured effort over C&D (17-2) two weeks ago; finished behind three of today's rivals in that race and he needs to leave that form behind. |

4th May 2026 Standard To Slow 1m 0f 0y Class 5 |
9st 8lb |
In the frame in all four starts on the AW, but yet to win after 12 attempts; returns from 191 days off having undergone wind surgery and he may be best watched despite having run well fresh in the past. |

9st 7lb |
0-11 but runner-up in first-time tongue-tie (retained since) at Ascot (7f, soft) last month and did well to finish sixth of 17 there (7f, good to soft) last time having been slowly away; wears first-time blinkers and could have a big part to play. |

25th May 2026 Good 0m 7f 0y Class 6 |
9st 5lb |
His form has deteriorated since his last win last May but he took a step back in the right direction when fourth of 16 at Doncaster (7f, good to soft) nine days ago; has another career-low mark today and is not ruled out. |

16th May 2026 Good 0m 7f 6y Class 6 |
9st 6lb |
One win apiece for his previous two yards but he looks far from solid on 2026 form for another new stable; best watched unless the betting suggests a big run is likely; cheekpieces are removed and blinkers return. |

8st 10lb |
4yo who made the breakthrough when scoring off a reduced mark at Kempton (6f, Polytrack; 18-1) in March; has claims if he can back that up but he can miss the break and will need a good pace on this drop back to 5f. |

25th Mar 2026 Standard To Slow 0m 6f 0y Class 6 |
9st 9lb |
Well handicapped on his second at Goodwood (6f, good) last August but he's lost his way in last four runs and was beaten 14l over C&D three weeks ago; record is now 0-10 and he has a lot to prove from tough draw. |

Won his novice on heavy going last October (5f); placed in three of his four starts this year, most recently behind Emporess over C&D last week; each-way shout again. |

Heavy-ground winner as a 2yo; placed twice (5f/7f, good/good to firm) in the spring and faced a stiffer task in Class 3 since; fresh contender who could go well back down in trip/grade. |

15th Sep 2025 Good 0m 7f 218y Class 5 |
9st 8lb |
Good start for new stable when third of nine at Kempton (1m) in May; ready win at Ffos Las the following month (1m, soft) and although she was only midfield at Kempton five weeks ago, she could resume her progress back on turf; rain would help. |

11th Aug 2025 Standard To Slow 1m 0f 0y Class 5 |
9st 9lb |
Finished a close third of nine on her stable/handicap debut over C&D in May and got off the mark at Ffos Las (1m, soft) the following month; seems to be progressing and respected off 3lb higher. |

Verdict
Although THINK OF A NAME failed to do himself justice on Tapeta last time out he had looked to have more to come in his sole turf outing, at Newbury in July, and has at least shown he can handle a slowish surface. Rory Rocket did well on his Brighton debut and both he and stablemate Dannick, who ran better than the result suggests at Sandown, are possible alternatives, along with William Haggas’s Bintshuaa and newcomer Mini Mac for whom a market move would be significant.[Emily Weber]
