Sprint-bred colt who went off at 50-1 for his recent Sandown debut (5f, soft) where he ran green from well off the pace but nevertheless showed signs of ability before getting hampered; can fare better here; yard also runs Rory Rocket.

16-race maiden but he was runner-up three times last season and wasn't beaten far when fifth in new headgear at Kempton (6f, AW) 11 days ago; that was eye-catching from off the pace and he's in the mix back up in trip.

15-race maiden but he did finish runner-up on three occasions last year (twice on the AW); however, he's been down the field in three starts this year and drops back in trip with a bit to prove; first-time visor replaces cheekpieces.

A repeat of the form which netted him a C&D second last month (good to firm) off today's mark would take him close; hard to blame his Doncaster flop since on the return to a 1m trip he has won over before.

The outsider of four for his Brighton debut (extended 5f, good to firm) last month but he was the only one to make a race of it with the much more experienced winner and should be all the better for the experience; close up if handling the slower ground.

Form & Verdict
Brushed aside back on AW in August but it was quite a useful contest; had previously delivered more on sole turf outing, when no match for a talented rival but clear of the rest at Newbury (6f, good to soft; form worked out) in July; respected on that run.

Looked open to improvement when finishing sixth of 11 on her Yarmouth debut (6f, good to firm) but it wasn't forthcoming at Carlisle since; this easier track might suit better but she tackles much more testing ground and fitting a tongue-tie needs to make a difference.

First foal; by Tasleet out of 5f/6f winner (including 2yo; RPR 102), whose siblings include 5.7f/6f winner Harrison Stickle and useful 5f/6f winner Gabbiano; bred to be speedy but conditions will be tough for a newcomer and trainer doesn't target these races.

Wore this equipment combination on last three starts, beaten a nose in a Brighton handicap (5.2f, good to firm) on first occasion and making all in a classified here (5f, good) on second; wide draw and interference leaving the stalls prevented those tactics at Windsor three weeks ago; 5lb claimer is on board this time; should be of renewed interest.

Went very close in first-time tongue-tie/blinkers in Brighton handicap (5.2f, good to firm) last month then made all in a classified at Leicester (5f, good); it took her a long time to post that first win but she came clear with a subsequent winner at Leicester and is unexposed in this headgear combination; can make another bold bid.

Verdict

Although THINK OF A NAME failed to do himself justice on Tapeta last time out he had looked to have more to come in his sole turf outing, at Newbury in July, and has at least shown he can handle a slowish surface. Rory Rocket did well on his Brighton debut and both he and stablemate Dannick, who ran better than the result suggests at Sandown, are possible alternatives, along with William Haggas’s Bintshuaa and newcomer Mini Mac for whom a market move would be significant.[Emily Weber]
