Verdict
Most surely depends on the readiness of EARL OF ROCHESTER on this first appearance since he ran on into third of 11 in the Wood Ditton at Newmarket in April, giving two talented rivals plenty to think about and finishing clear of the fourth. That performance is far more persuasive than anything today’s rivals have managed. Groovy Baby’s third on heavy ground last time puts her second on the list, ahead of A Major Payne who, like the selection, has been absent since the spring. Tazima is a newcomer to check out, though.[Richard Austen]
