Verdict
Lady Magu (second choice) moves up in trip for her handicap debut and has plenty of scope to progress again from her recent 1m2f maiden win on soft turf. However, she needs to prove herself on this quicker surface and the vote goes to ROSE COTTON who began this year in good form on AW surfaces, remains unexposed over this trip and had some excuses when safely held on turf two months ago. Desert Belle may lack a change of gear and might be vulnerable if this is tactical but, on the other hand, she could show significant improvement if this is a true test at the trip.[Chris Wilson]
