Verdict
The probable ground conditions are an unknown, but the unexposed Escape Magic is still worthy of plenty of respect with the return to this trip likely to suit. Blue Point Express is worth a second look off 2lb lower than when winning over C&D on soft ground a year ago, but the choice is three-time course winner AJRAD, now 8lb lower than when winning on heavy ground at Bath last autumn.[David Bellingham]
