A fast-finishing third against the pronounced pace bias at speed-favouring Gowran was an encouraging run from MOREHAMPTON and demonstrated that he’s now running off a competitive mark. Headgear is refitted and he handles an ease, should the rain arrive. Sam Coen’s claim means that hat-trick-seeking Eddie G is still well treated and his stablemate Goal Exceeded comes here in good heart too.
