Even with last year’s winner REGALLY BLONDE, and third Dereham, back for more, this lacks a standout. Ben Case’s mare won’t mind the forecast rain though, and that’s enough to earn her the nod. Twilight Safari (second choice) merits respect for the in-form Micky Hammond and we mightn’t have seen the best of Si White just yet. [Mark Rowntree]
