Has never convinced beyond a mile, making it 0-4 at 1m2f/1m4f when last in a Group 2 at York in July; a repeat of his 3l fourth to Notable Speech in the Group 1 Lockinge (first-time cheekpieces) in May would guarantee a major role at this level, and he nearly won that race the previous year; has smart form on all surfaces. |

Most recent success came in Group 2 at Sandown (1m, good) last April; not at best in three runs this season, including in same race and when returned to 1m2f for Group 1 at Royal Ascot five weeks ago; needs a revival. |

Grand campaigner but his last two efforts, including in the Queen Anne he'd won 12 months earlier, have spoiled an otherwise excellent record at Ascot which is the place he's most associated with; below best in both Goodwood attempts, latest when fifth of seven in this race last year; opposed. |

Has an excellent record over the straight 1m here, including a Queen Anne win at the 2025 Royal meeting; below par in the latest edition of that race but a Doncaster Listed win and Sha Tin Group 1 third in the spring suggest he's still just about as good as ever. |

Campaigned over 1m (on good/firmer) this season, mostly at the top level, best efforts when second in the Lockinge and Queen Anne; failed to produce his customary strong finish in the Marois most recently and this may be the right time to drop back in trip; landed a major handicap and Group 2 over 7f last term; top on the figures. |

Usually held up; did very well over 6f/7f last term, including summer wins in a major handicap and Group 2; made a cracking first attempt at 1m when 2l second to Notable Speech in the Lockinge at Newbury on reappearance and backed that up by filling the same position in the Queen Anne at the Royal meeting (straight 1m, good to firm); the reopposing Zeus Olympios was behind him on both occasions; sets a good standard. |

Prior to this year all his best form was at 7f on ground good or slower, and yet he popped up at 50-1 in a fast-ground Queen Anne and proved that was no flash in the pan with his close fourth to Bow Echo in the Sussex Stakes (again 1m on good to firm), in which he was nearest at the finish having been held up out the back; hard to knock. |

Came off the good pace set by Opera Ballo when 50-1 winner of the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm) last time, completing a quickfire June double that was initiated over 7f at Epsom; still unexposed as a miler and has frame possibilities provided the latest piece of form is backed up. |

4-4 in his first season last year, culminating in Group 2 win at Newmarket (1m, good to firm); back to somewhere approaching that form when third to Notable Speech in the Lockinge at Newbury (1m, good) and respectable fourth to Ten Bob Tony in the Queen Anne here (straight 1m, good to firm) since, keeping on again after getting outpaced; likely to go well but More Thunder was ahead of him on those last two starts. |

4-4 in his first season last year, culminating in Group 2 win at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) where he won going away from Opera Ballo; unable to confirm placings with that opponent at Sandown on reappearance but wasn't disgraced and he subsequently ran better, behind Notable Speech and More Thunder, in the Lockinge at Newbury; may yet tap back into his tremendous earlier progress and prove that he can still become a top miler; remains of major interest. |

Rock-solid performer whose success in the Irish 2,000 Guineas is flanked by good efforts behind Bow Echo at Newmarket (beaten almost 3l, pair well clear) and Royal Ascot (nearly collared him); admittedly the bare result last time may not be fully reliable, given the way the race panned out and the stiff 1m; however, this smart colt is certainly reliable, having never finished out of the first two, and is again an important player in another rematch with his nemesis. |

Very solid performer who continues to improve steadily and has never finished out of the first two; readily landed the Coventry at this meeting 12 months ago and has performed well at Group/Grade 1 level since, most recently registering a 3l success in the Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh, taking record over 1m to 2-3; clear best of the remainder behind Bow Echo at Newmarket earlier in May and should give the rematch his best shot. |

Won the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster (1m, heavy) last October and reappeared with Group 3 win at Chantilly (1m1f, good to soft) in May; close second to Constitution River in the Group 1 Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly (10.5f, good) next time, then beaten just over 3l by the same stablemate when third in the Eclipse at Sandown (1m2f, good to firm); has work to do but he could show improvement if settling better than on his last two starts. |

Record of 4-6 includes three Group wins, notably the Futurity at Doncaster last autumn; has taken well to headgear (cheekpieces then blinkers) in two races at Chantilly this season, good second to stablemate Constitution River in the French Derby (10.5f, good) latest; no certainty to reverse placings with that colt, who is still improving, but is building up a solid record and again has place possibilities. |

Won his Newbury maiden on soft; has raced only four times and sole blip came when 18-1 for the 2,000 Guineas; interesting that he was considered up to that task and, after a break of 96 days, he did all his best work late to take second in a 1m Group 3 at Leopardstown (good); there's surely more to come, as a Group 1 QEII entry would imply. |

Narrow winner of a maiden over an extended 6f (soft) on his debut at Newbury last October; reappeared in the Greenham at the same venue and emerged with credit in finishing fourth of eight, looking in need of a stronger gallop; still looked raw when running in the 2,000 Guineas, eased when beaten; interesting here if he emerges more mature after three months off. |

7f course winner who has been hooded for last four starts; can prove a handful but he looked very good when winning the Listed Heron at Sandown in May and it was a cracking effort when third to leading 3yo milers in the St James's Place at Royal Ascot in June; last time turned into a mess when sent off 2-5 and second in Goodwood Group 3 (again 1m); strong claims. |

Progressive colt whose record is 3-5; came off strong pace set by a stablemate and stormed clear to win the Heron Stakes at Sandown on penultimate start, then ran well in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm) despite pulling hard in the early stages; the form pick and his chance will be cemented if settling better than last time. |

Gamely won the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood and National Stakes at the Curragh (beat Gstaad) during his productive 2yo campaign; missed the 2,000 Guineas due to a setback but has shown he retains plenty of ability with fifth-place finishes in two Group 1 races this summer, the Sussex Stakes over C&D on first occasion (sole 1m attempt); highly respected back down in class. |

9st 3lb |
One of the best 2yos around last season, with his head defeat of Gstaad in the Group 1 National Stakes at the Curragh (7f, yielding; unraced on softer) his most striking piece of form; a setback ruled out him out of the 2,000 Guineas after shaping encouragingly in a trial, and he got messed about at a crucial stage when fifth in the Sussex (one place behind Ten Bob Tony); this shorter trip might be a better fit for him and, as he still retains some upside, he looks a key player. |
