Verdict
Preference is for COMMANDER OF TEN, who kicked off his hurdling career with a promising third in a dramatic race at Cheltenham last month and sets the standard on that form. The main threat could come from course bumper winner Basford, who ran well for a long way on his hurdling debut at Bangor and looks a likely improver back at this track. Point winner Leading Force needs watching in the market on his rules debut.[David Moon]
