Verdict
Multiple bumper and hurdle winner Nells Son kicked off his chasing career with a near miss at Ayr on his return last month. He’s strongly respected off the same mark on this step back up in trip but slight preference is for Jonjo O’Neill’s unexposed chaser GARRY CLERMONT. This strong traveller ended last season with a good fourth of 21 in Grade 3 handicap hurdle at Aintree and is 7lb lower here on his switch back to fences.[David Moon]
