An interesting race in which the vote goes to RAE DES CHAMPS, who finished well to win on her handicap debut at Musselburgh in March before ending last season with a second behind a major improver in a Class 2 event at Kelso. Marsh Wren won novice events in two of her last three starts last term and she’s feared most off what looks a workable mark on her return. Third choice is Bonne Vitesse, who has also scored twice in this sphere and is respected on her handicap hurdle debut.[David Moon]
