Well down the field in Wetherby bumper on rules debut in February and has also struggled on both hurdling starts (2m4f/2m); needs to learn to settle much better. |

£30,000 3yo; third foal; half-brother to a Slovakian Flat winner; dam Slovakian Flat/Italian hurdle winner, half-sister to bumper/hurdle winner Arabic History and to three useful AW/dirt sprinters; stable not known for winning bumpers. |

Put a disappointing run of form behind him when returning to winning ways over C&D (good) 11 days ago, making all; whether he can reproduce that effort is another matter but he is still well handicapped on his old form. |

His two wins came on soft in April 2024; out of sorts over fences and hurdles this term; cheekpieces return and has dropped to a career-low mark but doesn't look ready to take advantage. |

Well beaten in his three Irish maiden points over 3m but shaped as though perhaps not having the necessary stamina; has joined top yard for rules career and could go well over this shorter trip. |

Showed promise in a bumper; little to show for her efforts in three maiden/novice hurdles at about 3m and 2m but should find this level more suitable and no surprise to see her involved back up in trip. |

Began career with two very disappointing runs (bumper/hurdle) but, following a wind op, fared considerably better when third at Ffos Las (2m, good) last month; that form already makes him a leading contender here, and he has plenty of scope for further progress. |

Disappointing favourite in bumper and pulled up in juvenile hurdle; however, had wind surgery since last run and now goes in tongue-tie; those factors may prompt a much better effort. |

French-bred; sent off 2-1 favourite for Fontwell bumper in January but disappointed, finishing only eighth of 14, beaten 53l; stable in good form; should do better on hurdles debut. |

Verdict
Future Perfect was bought for £75,000 after her Irish point win in November and she’s respected on her bumper debut. Endlesspossibility and Il Va De Soi also need a close look on their switch to rules, while the newcomer Film D’Action is an interesting contender for a yard with a record of 9-18 in bumpers here in recent years. However, the vote goes to Dan Skelton’s TRIP SWITCH, who made a promising start in this sphere with his second at Market Rasen last month and sets a fair standard on that form.[David Moon]
