Verdict
He found one just too good when odds-on here last month but GEORGES SAINT certainly didn’t run badly that day, and his earlier handicap second makes him the one to beat. Hauraki Gulf also has good form claims but this is his first run for 11 months and a bigger threat to the selection may come from Cuthbert Dibble, who ought to be suited by today’s step up in trip.[Chris Wilson]
