Thorough stayer RAMSES DE TEILLEE (nap) ran well for a long way when fourth in last month’s Veterans’ Final at Warwick and is selected to dominate this less-competitive event from the front. Celebre D’Allen finished 38l behind Chambard in a gruelling stamina test over Aintree’s big fences in December but he still ran well there and can turn the tables on his old rival in what ought to be a more conventional race here. Floueur arrested his decline with a fairly encouraging seasonal/stable debut last month and also has possibilities.[Chris Wilson]
