Won four-runner race on chasing debut at Plumpton (2m3f, good) in April; not a great deal has gone to plan since but she ran well before fading into third over C&D (good; first-time cheekpieces) six weeks ago and may still have some potential over fences.

Verdict

Had she been a little wiser to the job in hand then JENA D’OUDAIRIES would have finished closer at Ludlow and that form has worked out nicely. Jakana (second choice) was never dangerous in that race but she too looked as though the experience would bring her on plenty. Another Ludlow graduate, Lady Jago, and promising Plumpton third, Realta Liath, are the other standout contenders. With Briery Butterfly and Hit For Sixty perhaps longer-term prospects, Khutulun Khan might be the newcomer to note in the betting.[Alistair Jones]
