Promising for Charlie Appleby at two/three, including on soft; made his stable debut after 456 days off, creating a big impression, in landing a 1m handicap at Newcastle in February; hit with a 6lb rise but highly likely there's more to come.

Verdict

Noble Order created an extremely favourable impression when winning at Newcastle in February and he’s probably still well handicapped. He’s high on the list, along with last year’s runner-up Shaladar and the three that ran so well in the Spring Mile, namely Look Back Smiling, Thunder Roar and Clear Angel (second choice). That said, PISANELLO returns to action on a winning mark, goes well fresh and looks to have plenty in his favour.[Paul Smith]
