Form & Verdict
Prominent-racer who has been better than ever when winning 6f Listed races the last twice; his revival has coincided with a return to a slow ground and he carries a 3lb penalty today, but he was a C&D handicap winner on good to firm last season and can make a bold bid if his purple patch continues.

Climbed through the ranks and won seven handicaps last season; took a while to find his form this term but surged back to best to win Listed race at Chester (6f, good to soft; made all) three weeks ago; tactically versatile, just as effective on quick ground and goes well at Newmarket; big player.

Form & Verdict
Mixed form this year and disappointing favourite in the Stewards' Cup last time; however, he was restless in the stalls that day and he kept on well two starts ago for second in the Group 3 Coral Charge at Sandown (5f, soft); Listed winner over C&D (soft) last October and versatile ground-wise; can be in the shake-up for in-form yard if bouncing back from latest run.

Up-and-coming sprinter who was by no means disgraced in the Group 1 King's Stand here in June and has shown his mettle since with close calls in a Sandown Group 3 over 5f (soft) and a 6f Listed race at York (good to soft) where Korker was just over 2l back in third; one of the better ones.

Two wins (5f and 6f) as a 2yo, the second of them in Listed race on soft ground; highly tried this year but he's shown plenty, notably when second of eight in a Sandown Group 3 (5f, soft) four weeks ago; 4lb well in here and he won't mind returning to 6f; stable won this with a 3yo in 2016 and this one performed well at this meeting last year, so he makes plenty of appeal.

Tends to be slowly away but often runs well here and was suited by the step back up in trip when second of 14 to Rage Of Bamby in C&D handicap last time (good to firm; similar terms today); unexposed at 6f; could be a player.

Often slowly away; all wins at 5f but his very good third last month in a York Listed race (good to soft) and the Ayr Gold Cup (good to firm) confirm he does stay 6f; a niggling doubt remains as to whether this stiff test will find him out, though.

Form & Verdict
5f may be his optimum trip and he's been beaten in Group races on his last 11 starts, but he's often run well in that time including when fifth in the Group 3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury in July on a rare crack at 6f (good to firm); drops in grade today and could be involved.

Regularly contests Group events but yet to win one; again ran respectably when never-nearer fifth in Group 3 at Sandown (5f, soft; first-time cheekpieces) two weeks ago; had form at 6f earlier in career and unlikely to be far away but more will be required if he's to snap a losing run of ten.

Ended 4yo turf season with two very good runs, winning an Ayr Listed race (good to soft) and close up in a Group 3 at Ascot (6f, good); not obviously bet-worthy on this year's form but it's possible she'll sing a different tune for the first-time tongue-tie.

Form & Verdict
In fine form in top 6f handicaps last autumn, winning the Ayr Gold Cup (good to soft) then finishing second here (soft); back to form on second start of this season when unlucky in the Group 3 Palace House (5f, good) in May; absent since but can be a contender if at the top of his game.

Had a fine year in 2023, his first with this stable, when an Ayr Gold Cup win was the highlight; has only run well in one of his four starts this year and hopes rest on a wind operation having a positive effect; second and first in two runs at Newcastle.

Has won on good to soft; seen in best light when impressive in a similar race at Pontefract (6f, good to firm) in August; had an off day next time and she lacked the pace to get involved at Ayr since (extended 5f; respectable fourth) but returning to 6f with a stiff finish can suit; solid.

Never better than when coming clear for 6f Listed win at Pontefract in August (good to firm; Rage Of Bamby over 4l back in fourth) but she was a different filly when dropping right out at York since (6f, good to soft; had won a big handicap on that ground in June); needs quick about-face.

Won Group 2 Duke Of York over C&D (good) in 2023; hasn't hit same heights this year but she finished well for Listed dead-heat at Ayr (5f, good to firm) this May and could appreciate the step back up in trip after failing to threaten in the Nunthorpe; yard has won three of the last five runnings.

Classy winner of Group 2 (6f, good) in May 2023 but her season ended that July; offered hope that she was on the way back when dead-heating for 5f Listed race here in June but following a fair run in a Group 1 she was tailed off back in Listed company this month (said to have been unsuited by losing a shoe early); questions hang but major claims if that can be overlooked.

Looked set to be a major sprinting force when beating a top sprinter in a 6f Group 2 on this track (good) in May 2023 but she's had only a handful of starts since and her dead-heat for first in a 5f Listed race at Ayr (good to firm) last time wasn't really worthy of the sprinter she promised to become; still time for her to do better but she's up against the specialist 5f sprinters, which gives her more to prove; yard won this in 2015 and 2016.
