Resurgent when winning 6f Group 3 here (good to firm) last month, leading 2f out and keeping on well; all his successes have come at that distance but under these quick conditions he should be fine back at 7f; unbeaten at Newbury and has to be considered now that he's back in top form. |

Still below best when third at Newcastle (AW debut) last time but that was something of resurgence; progressive spell culminated in wins over C&D (Listed) and at Haydock (Group 2) in May 2025; possibilities provided he returns to that sort of form. |

He hasn't had a great deal of racing since July 2024 but, two wind surgeries and a gelding operation later, he has shown he retains a good chunk of his former ability (Group 2 winner at best) this year, in a tongue-tie on last two starts; finished just behind Soldier's Tree when fifth in the Wokingham (6f, good to firm) but was in front of that rival in a Group 3 at Newbury two weeks ago; 3lb well in and has the ability to feature but his tendency to forfeit ground at the start isn't ideal in a race of this depth. |

Very lightly raced in recent times but latest effort, namely fifth in the Wokingham, suggests he retains a very useful level of ability aged seven; however, needs to prove he's still capable of peak form, which includes Group wins at Newbury and the Curragh. |

Classy in his prime when winning a Group 2 at the Curragh (6f, good; acts on good to firm) in May 2024; only intermittently raced since owing to physical issues and his latest comeback, at Doncaster in March, ended badly; however, he's had a second wind surgery since and is now tongue tied, so judgement suspended with his trainer bullish ahead of this first handicap run. |

Broadly progressive 4yo whose form in notable handicaps suggests he could develop into a Group horse; went close on reappearance in his bid for a York double, then finished a respectable sixth when favourite for the Wokingham at Royal Ascot; remains of major interest. |

Respectable C&D form last September when third of 19 but he's been at his most impressive on flatter tracks so far, as when crushing his rivals at Ayr (good to soft) and York (good) as a 3yo; returned to action with a mighty effort on the latter track in May, when only just failing to reel in a well-treated front-runner; major chance if reproducing the form back here, despite going up 5lb since, as his star is still rising. |

Promising 3yo last season and things clicked in a major way with a dominant win in a big-field C&D handicap (good) last October when last seen; he's entered in the Group 1 Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and this lightly raced sort is in excellent hands to continue to progress; strong contender. |

Group 1-class sprinter at his best but it's been a struggle this season since an encouraging start at Listed level and he now has his sights lowered for a first crack at a handicap; has a lot of weight and perhaps better at 6f than 5f. |

Has an underwhelming strike-rate for a horse of his ability and losing spell goes back over two years; that said, has spent over half of his career in Group 1 races, best effort when third in the 2024 Commonwealth Cup; drops back in class after a heavy defeat at this year's Royal Ascot. |

Clear best in the 2025 Jersey at Royal Ascot (7f) but was pulled up (lost action) in only subsequent start last term and has failed to show his form this year; drop back to 6f had no effect last time; enough to prove. |

7f AW win as a 2yo; enjoyed his finest hour when winning the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm) 12 months ago; only seen twice since, pulling up at Goodwood last July and then finishing a remote last of five in a French Group 3 (soft ground) last month; not solid but he'll be a danger to all if back near that Jersey Stakes form. |

Left his previous form way behind when a commanding winner of the Group 3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm); he needs to prove that level of performance was no one-off but the runner-up has since gone well in the July Cup and this 3yo is entitled to respect. |

Won a valuable sales race at last season's Ebor meeting; improved performer this year, winning a Listed event at Newbury (6f, good) before a close seventh in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot; disappointed at Newbury two weeks ago when reportedly finding the ground too fast; a penalty could leave him vulnerable today. |

Sole 3yo in this field; largely progressive colt whose form features wins in York sales race as a 2yo and C&D Listed event on penultimate outing; creditable seventh in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot latest; may have more to offer back down in class; major player. |
